Henry has a huge passion for shooting having been brought up on a family farm in Suffolk. He started shooting on the farm with his father at the age of seven, and turned his interest to clay shooting aged 12 where he competes at a higher level for his age.
Henry has been a part of the Phillip Thorrold Shooting Academy since 2014. He has a lesson every two months or if he has big shooting competition coming up. His ambition is to be the best in the world.
A few tips for from Henry for people who are starting the sport: “It is all about the concentration, try not to get annoyed if you drop a clay and keep on going even when your scores are getting lower. To get through your bad patches don’t give up! Everyone goes through them and comes out a lot stronger, the scores will get better.”
