Emily Chumbley

Emily Chumbley is 15 years old and started training with Philip at Philip Thorrold Shooting Academy in Autumn 2017. Emily got into shooting through her Dad, Ed Chumbley who regularly trains with us and on the sporting field. Emily’s Dad took Emily for a shooting lesson at the academy which she loved and has never looked back. Emily trains at the academy on every school holiday and shoots every week else where. Emily shoots with a 28 bore.

Last year Emily represented Essex in the National Inter Counties Skeet Colts Team which we won. Emily also recently won the Juniors at her first registered Sporting Shoot at Horne Clay Shoot.

This year (2020) Emily  want to train and shoot as much as possible and enter her first major Championship which will be the English Open Sporting in May 2020, she will also be entering the Schools Challenge at the Oxford Gun Company.
